Gresford Disaster Commemorative Wagons In OO & O Gauge

It will be the 90th anniversary of the Gresford mining disaster this year and to commemorate those that died, Dapol are producing a wagon to raise funds to help support the Wrexham Miners Project, a local charity that helps maintain the local heritage and support the community.

We had the pleasure of having members of the Wreham Minors Project come and visit Dapol to see the wagons being made.

A total of 266 OO Gauge wagons and 266 O Gauge wagons will be produced, one for each victim of the disaster, a donation will be made for each wagon sold. Each wagon will come with a numbered certificate, (certificate Number 1-266)
