Great little project to get me restarted on the model railways scene
At first glance this is a nice kit. There are photos on line of the original and the lkit matches those features.
But it is very much a 1960s kit. Apparently straightforward etc, etc.... the four main walls go together, but without a base. That means that you have to place the walls in exact 90 degrees angles to each other before you can proceed further. That sounds simple but is not all that simple. A base would be useful, or a template of a base to cut from plastic card. The alternative would be to use the roof as a basis and build under it, but no.
I will persevere and try to get this right, but it is an old kit, no flash, well molded, but more difficult to construct than from modern similar kits.
The instructions do not mention the use of the clear sheet for windows
Really pleased that I bought this kit considering that it is almost 64 years old .The kit is first Class and made in Wales.
i bought this for a WW2 wargame that I am creating. For its price it is a lovely model
